Why do I need a Survey?

What’s included?

Put simply, it is a survey report that will outline the condition of the property you wish to purchase. The mortgage valuation carried out by your lender is not a survey. It is performed, often remotely, by the mortgage lender to assess the risk of the loan amount. These valuations will tell you nothing about the condition of the property you want to buy.

The survey will include:

An inspection of all major features including any ongoing structural movement, roofs, walls, floors, woodwork and ceilings.
