Andrew Winter, BSc (Hons), MRICS, CertDEA,
Andrew is a surveyor and started working at Avery & Co in September 2016.
He graduated from UCLAN with a degree in Building Surveying in 2010. He then worked as an estate agent for 5 years on the Fylde Coast carrying out market appraisals on residential properties. This opportunity gave a him a wealth of local knowledge in valuing properties and dealing with the sale process from start to finish.
Andrew began working for Avery & Co in 2016 as a trainee surveyor. He was provided with intensive on the job training from many highly experienced surveyors. He qualified as a residential surveyor and registered valuer in 2017 and has enjoyed providing surveys and valuations to our clients ever since. Andrew has since passed the APC and became a chartered surveyor in 2024.

Bill Lindley, BSc (Hons) AssocRICS CertDEA
Bill is an AssocRICS surveyor and joined Avery & Co in June 2024.
Graduating from Salford University in 2009 with a BSc Honours degree in Property Management and Investment, Bill acquired broad experience in the industry ranging from property management, estate management and estate agency, before moving to specialise in residential valuation and surveying; the sector from which he gets the greatest satisfaction.
Bill has a strong interest in building pathology, specifically with regards to defects in residential properties, and studies this topic regularly.
“My favourite part of my job is looking for defects and giving clients peace of mind when purchasing a property. Every day is different! Meeting new people is also something I really enjoy, and I absolutely love meeting pets at houses!”
Kate Avery, BSc (Hons), MSc, MRICS, CertDEA
Kate is a Chartered Surveyor and Director at Avery & Co. She started working for Avery & Co as an administration assistant in 2011, whilst also studying for a degree in Geography. Once she graduated, she returned to university to complete a postgraduate degree in Commercial Property Management and trained to become a surveyor. Kate qualified as a surveyor and registered valuer in February 2017 and became a Director of Avery & Co in early 2020. Kate went on to complete her APC and become a chartered surveyor in 2023.
Kate currently carries out inspections several days per week and spends the rest of her time running the business. Her primary focus is marketing and, ensuring we provide the best customer service possible. She is also passionate about making Avery & Co a great company to work for.

Louise Avery, BSc (Hons), MRICS, CertDEA
Louise is a chartered surveyor, founder and Managing Director of Avery & Co. She qualified in 1990 and spent many years working for Halifax as a valuer before setting up Avery & Co in 2004 as a consultant valuer for Halifax. Since then, Avery & Co has grown and changed to offer services to a wide variety of clients and customers.
Louise now spends most of her time running the business but still enjoys inspecting properties. She is passionate about quality and making Avery & Co a market leader for independent and professional property advice.
Louise volunteers time to helping the community. She was a Special Inspector for Merseyside Police for several years, and now volunteers for Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes by transporting tissue and blood across the region.
