Put simply, it is a survey report that will outline the condition of the property you wish to purchase. The mortgage valuation carried out by your lender is not a survey. Duncan became a Chartered Surveyor in 1983 and joined Avery and Co in 2013. Duncan is experienced Chartered Surveyor who has worked across Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire and North Wales. Duncan has been previously been employed in local government, private surveying practices, corporate and for a building society. He has undertaken a range of work, including commercial estate management, compulsory acquisition, retail improvement projects, residential development finance and residential surveys and valuation. He enjoys being part of Avery and Co and is an integral member of our enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable team.
Kate achieved a degree in Geography before completing a Masters in Commercial Property Management. She then trained to become a surveyor alongside her university studies and qualified as an AssocRICS surveyor and Registered Valuer in 2017. Kate plays an integral part in running the company from marketing to compliance and management whilst also carrying out property inspections. Kate really enjoy the diversity of the role and watching the business grow. Most importantly, she works to maintain high standards for our customers whilst creating a great place for our fantastic team to work.
Adam joined Avery & Co in 2016 and is a qualified Residential Surveyor and Valuer and Risk and Compliance Manager for us. After completing a degree in Building Surveying in 2012, he joined a graduate scheme at E.surv where he successfully qualified. Adam covers the North Wales, Chester and Wirral areas. He is a highly valued member of our team and it is our hope that we can support him to achieve his MRICS qualification in coming years.
Alex has been involved in the residential property industry for over 5 years including estate agency and lettings management. He obtained his Level 6 Diploma in surveying and valuing through the SAVA School of Surveying in 2019. He is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and joined Avery & Co in January 2020. Alex says the best part of the job is the wide variety of properties he gets to see on a daily basis as well as the mentoring he receives from other surveyors within the team.
