We have recently introduced a Level 3 Building Survey Drone Service for customers who are purchasing properties that may be of unusual construction, or be in a dilapidated condition, or have been significantly altered. Using a drone allows our surveyors to gain a clear view of difficult to reach areas.
Benefits of using the Level 3 Building Survey drone service.
- Access difficult areas safely – drones can easily reach and inspect high roofs, chimneys and other inaccessible areas of a property.
- Cost-effectiveness and efficiency – deploying a drone for a survey is often quicker and more affordable than traditional methods.
- Visual data and documentation – drones equipped with high-resolution cameras capture detailed images and video.
- Enhanced communication and insight – the visual data collected by drones can be easily shared with clients.
What do you get?
- A thorough visual inspection by one of our experienced RICS qualified surveyors of the inside and outside of the property including garages and outbuildings.
- Inspection of any roof spaces and lifting of drain covers where accessible.
- Damp meter readings of accessible ground floor walls.
- Inspection of low-level flat roofs.
- A clear detailed written report highlighting the condition and providing advice on future repairs and maintenance.
- A clear traffic light system (red amber green) to describe the urgency of repairs.
- An easy to read traffic light system (red amber & green) to rate urgency of any repairs.
- Advice on any matters to be checked by your legal advisor such as guarantees or consents for any alterations or extensions.
- Drone inspection of roof, chimney stacks and any other inaccessible areas that can be captured via drone footage.
Need advice?
- We will listen to any particular concerns you may have before we inspect the property.
- Once you have received your report, we are happy to advise and explain anything further that you are not sure of.
- Our surveyors are all very approachable and will always be happy to speak with you to help put your mind at rest.
Beware of cut-price fee quotes.
Buying a home is the biggest commitment most of us make. Not all surveys are the same, and while choosing the cheapest home survey may seem like a good idea at first, it can prove a false economy, and a low-cost surveyor will not devote the time or dedication required to do a thorough job. We are not on price comparison websites for a reason.
All of our surveyors are fully RICS qualified and regulated, and ultimately, investing in a high-quality service from Avery & Co could save you money in the long-run and give you peace of mind when purchasing a property.
We have worked incredibly hard over many years to build up an excellent reputation, and our reviews are a credit to the hard work and dedication of everyone at Avery & Co to produce the highest possible standard of service to our clients and customers.
