As a Chartered Surveyor and active contributor to RICS expert working groups, our Managing Director, Louise Avery is directly involved in the development the professional guidance and standards that underpin the profession. This involves in-depth knowledge of these requirements and how they should be introduced and applied to help the consumer.
Louise is currently part of the Expert Group on the review of the RICS Home Survey Standard. She has drafted guidance as part of the UK Valuation Global Standards UK Supplement (the ‘Red Book’), supported the development of the RICS Retrofit Standard, and helped address complex issues such as the valuation of multi-storey buildings with cladding.
Louise has also presented at national webinars on behalf of RICS.
