Adam Moore, BSc (Hons), MRICS, CertDEA
Adam is a surveyor and Risk and Compliance Manager at Avery & Co.
He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Building Surveying in 2013 and started a graduate position with Esurv (a national firm) shortly after. He successfully qualified as a surveyor and registered valuer in 2014, and then spent several years working in North Wales, Cheshire and then London as a mortgage valuer. Adam joined Avery & Co in January 2016 as a surveyor and valuer, and became our Risk and Compliance Manager in 2020. He plays a key role ensuring we provide excellent customer service and making sure we are compliant in our practices.
Adam completed his APC and became a chartered surveyor in 2023.

Kate Avery, BSc (Hons), MSc, MRICS, CertDEA
Kate is a Chartered Surveyor and Director at Avery & Co. She started working for Avery & Co as an administration assistant in 2011, whilst also studying for a degree in Geography. Once she graduated, she returned to university to complete a postgraduate degree in Commercial Property Management and trained to become a surveyor. Kate qualified as a surveyor and registered valuer in February 2017 and became a Director of Avery & Co in early 2020. Kate went on to complete her APC and become a chartered surveyor in 2023.
Kate currently carries out inspections several days per week and spends the rest of her time running the business. Her primary focus is marketing and, ensuring we provide the best customer service possible. She is also passionate about making Avery & Co a great company to work for.

Duncan Turnbull, FRICS
Duncan is a Fellow of the RICS. He is a highly experienced chartered surveyor and a registered valuer. He joined Avery & Co in 2013.
Duncan became a Chartered Surveyor in 1983 and has worked in Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire and North Wales both during his training and since qualification. Throughout his career, he has been employed in local government, private surveying practices and financial services undertaking a range of work, including; commercial estate management, compulsory acquisition of residential and commercial property, retail improvement projects, residential development finance and residential surveys and valuation.

Louise Avery, BSc (Hons), MRICS, CertDEA
Louise is a chartered surveyor, founder and Managing Director of Avery & Co. She qualified in 1990 and spent many years working for Halifax as a valuer before setting up Avery & Co in 2004 as a consultant valuer for Halifax. Since then, Avery & Co has grown and changed to offer services to a wide variety of clients and customers.
Louise now spends most of her time running the business but still enjoys inspecting properties. She is passionate about quality and making Avery & Co a market leader for independent and professional property advice.
Louise volunteers time to helping the community. She was a Special Inspector for Merseyside Police for several years, and now volunteers for Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes by transporting tissue and blood across the region.
Kevin Stevens, BSc(Hons), MRICS
Kevin has recently joined Averys and has been working within the construction industry for 45 years having completed a trade apprenticeship upon leaving school. He graduated as a building surveyor in 1998 and achieved chartered status in 2001. He has worked within number of fields including estate management, building surveying and diversified into residential surveying and valuations in 2003. During the time he has been a residential surveyor and valuer he has carried out surveys at all levels on a wide variety of buildings including traditional timber framed dwellings and has been an area manager with 2 different companies.
